Coronavirus COVID-19 workshop implications and Cancelation Policy
If you are registered to attend or considering attending one of our fall or spring workshops, all events are currently scheduled to occur as planned. However, we are continuing to monitor the situation and will always prioritize the health and safety of our attendees and staff.
Sessions will occur virtual and face to face at the NLI training Center. Building and material are sterilize daily. Safety is our main priority.

2023 Education Explosion Conference COVID-19 Safety Measures and Requirements
The NLI’s first priority in all meetings and events is the safety and welfare of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff. NLI will implement and follow all current recommendations and requirements related to COVID-19. While the state mask mandate ended on February 28, 2022, NLI is still requiring the following in consideration of your peers.

NLI is not requiring everyone to wear a mask indoors. Attendees are responsible for bringing their own masks. There will be no extra masks available for conference attendees

NLI and the UH Student Center has positioned hand sanitizer stations in key high-traffic areas throughout its facility in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

To encourage social distancing, participants will not be allowed to enter rooms once sessions have met full capacity. You will need to select another session.

If you are unable to attend the conference due to COVID, NLI will allow you attend the Mega conference in Nov.


Cancellation & Refund Policies for Annual Conference
NLI hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, NLI knows extenuating circumstances do occur. The NLI Cancellation and Refund Policies are as follows:
Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy

Conference registration canceled on-line on, or before March 31st is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.

Registrants canceling on or after April 1st will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrants.

In the event NLI must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, NLI will refund the cost of registration.
Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:
Unforeseen circumstances is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents NLI from continuing with a conference, training, or webinar. Examples of such circumstances can include, but are not limited to, inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, etc.
