This live, virtual institute provides a 6-hour schoolwide literacy learning experience. Schools may schedule staff participation using rotating or staggered models. While individual groups may attend one 3-hour block, all participants receive shared materials and aligned instructional strategies to support consistent implementation across the school.

Districts typically schedule participation using a combination of planning periods, internal coverage, or staggered release, minimizing the need for full-day substitutes.

Overview
Many students can decode text but continue to struggle with understanding, analyzing, and explaining what they read. The Reading Comprehension Institute is a live, virtual, half-day professional learning experience designed to strengthen comprehension instruction across grade levels—without adding new programs or overwhelming teachers.
This institute provides research-aligned, classroom-ready strategies educators can implement immediately.
