Why Our Approach Works

Our ADHD evaluations are part of a comprehensive psychoeducational assessment, not a single-skill screening. We look closely at reading, phonemic awareness, writing, math, attention, memory, processing, and learning history to better understand what may be impacting a student’s academic progress.

By looking at the whole child not just one score we provide accurate diagnoses, clear answers, and recommendations families can use to support success in school and beyond.

What is Dyscalculia?

/Dis-kal-coo-lee-uh/

Dyscalculia is a learning disorder that affects a student’s ability to understand numbers and perform mathematical tasks. Math can feel confusing or impossible— whether it’s basic facts, multi-step problems, reading a clock, or handling money. Even with tutoring or extra practice, students may still struggle because dyscalculia involves how the brain processes numerical information and mathematical reasoning

Note: Dyslexia is not about reversing letters or reading backward. It primarily involves differences in phonological processing that affect reading accuracy and fluency.
